The 19th Middle East Corrosion Conference and Exhibition (MECC) took place at Dhahran Expo, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from November 11th to 13th. Since its launch in 1979, MECC has established itself as one of the region’s most respected platforms for corrosion management and materials engineering professionals. Organised by the Materials Engineering Association, the AMPP Dhahran Saudi Arabia Chapter, and the Bahrain Society of Engineers, the event continues to bring together industry experts, solution providers, and decision-makers who shape the future of corrosion mitigation.

This year, Cenosco was represented by Omar Rugebani, who joined delegates and thought leaders in exploring the latest trends, challenges, and innovations driving asset integrity forward across the Middle East.

When?

Date: 11-13 November 2025
Location: Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Who was this event for?

MECC was designed for professionals dedicated to safeguarding industrial assets from corrosion-related risks. It attracted engineers, inspectors, integrity specialists, plant managers, researchers, and technology providers from various sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation, and infrastructure.

Why should you have attended?

The Middle East Corrosion Conference offered more than just technical sessions; it was a vibrant hub for learning, collaboration, and discovery. Attendees had the chance to engage with a comprehensive technical program, hands-on workshops, and an exhibition floor featuring the latest advancements in corrosion monitoring, protection systems, and integrity management software.

By attending, you had the opportunity to deepen your expertise, explore practical case studies, and discover digital innovations that are transforming the industry’s approach to tackling corrosion challenges. It was also an excellent opportunity to meet our delegate, Omar Rugebani, and learn how Cenosco’s Integrity Management Software supports organisations in achieving safer, more reliable operations.
