The Hague, April 2026 — Cenosco, a leading provider of asset integrity management software, announces a strategic partnership with Egyptian Projects Operation & Maintenance (EPROM), the only company in Egypt whose core business is operations and maintenance services in the energy sector. Founded in 2002 and operating under the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), EPROM provides top-tier operational and maintenance services for oil refineries, petrochemical plants, marine terminals, and gas facilities across Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.

Supporting Egypt’s Energy Ambitions

Egypt holds a strategically important position in global energy markets. It is the second-largest non-OPEC liquid fuels producer in Africa, the second-largest natural gas producer on the continent, and home to Africa’s highest oil refining capacity. Egypt operates the Suez Canal and the SUMED Pipeline, positioning it at the crossroads of global energy trade. Therefore, the integrity and reliability of its industrial assets hold national and international significance.

A Partnership Built on Engineering Excellence

The partnership focuses on delivering asset integrity, inspection, and reliability management solutions across the EGPC sector. Under the agreement, EPROM will serve as the national implementation leader, responsible for sector-wide standardization of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs, and for leading end-to-end turnkey implementation across EGPC-affiliated assets. Cenosco will act as the technology and methodology provider, supplying and maintaining its IMS platform, delivering SME support, and building EPROM’s long-term self-sufficiency through comprehensive training programs.

EPROM brings over two decades of on-the-ground experience, holding long-term O&M contracts with some of Egypt’s largest oil, gas, and petrochemical operators. On the technology side, Cenosco’s IMS suite is already trusted by over 11,000 active users across more than 200 assets in 40 countries, spanning oil and gas, chemicals, and petrochemicals.

New Partnership Signed at EGYPES Egypt Energy Show 2026

In line with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy, the second day of the EGYPES 2026 conference featured EPROM’s partnership with Cenosco to enhance asset management, in the presence of Eng. Salaheldin El Sayed Abdel Kerim Awad, Chairman of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), and Eng. Hossam Asaad, Chairman and CEO of EPROM. This agreement reaffirms EPROM’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and support for Egypt’s energy transition.

Eng. Hossam Asaad, Chairman and CEO of EPROM, said: “The partnership between EPROM and Cenosco marks a new milestone in advancing asset integrity and reliability across Egypt’s energy sector. By enhancing existing infrastructure and aligning with Egypt Vision 2030, this collaboration supports the country’s ambition to become a leading regional and global energy hub. Leveraging EPROM’s highly skilled engineers and best-in-class practices, together with Cenosco’s IMS platform, the partnership will drive operational excellence, digital transformation, and sustainable performance across the industry.”

Rahul Kejriwal, CEO of Cenosco, said: “Egypt’s oil and gas sector has the assets, the scale, and the ambition. What it’s been missing is the data discipline and engineering rigor to back it up. EPROM gets that. They’re not looking for a software vendor; they’re building a national capability. That’s exactly the kind of partner we want to work with.”
